Topic: Decision Making from Accounting Perspective
Prof. Tony Shieh

Outline: How to make an optimal business decision by using accounting methodologies? We will introduce two accounting concepts: Cost-Volume-Proft (CVP) and Operating Leverage. Practical examples will be drawn on to explain how to use CVP Analysis to decide on needed sales for break-even or targeted proft and how to use Operating Leverage as a risk indicator to assess the company proft changes.
